I've been in the Iconic Latin R&B Band, WAR for 30 years. I took over Papa D. Allen's chair in the 90's after he died on stage in 1988. This was WAR's first hit song from WAR's debut album with Eric Burdon..."Eric Burdon declares War" from 1970! I've been singing it, in and out of the group dynamic, for almost 30 years since I was first drafted into the group and Eric was no longer in the picture. The band is now know as the LOWRIDER BAND, however the groove remains the same. Timeless!
